The Power of Having a Team at Your Fingertips

The Power of Having a Team at Your Fingertips

Ask anyone about applying for a new job and you will rarely see a smile join the conversation. Ask a physician about the joys of applying to a hospital and mention of a headache is basically guaranteed. Medical facility applications are enough to make anyone shudder; they are long, they are tedious, they are redundant, and they specifically start with the warning, “DO NOT WRITE ‘SEE CV’ FOR ALL SECTIONS”. There goes any hopes of using the handy old college trick. You get to hand-write all of your information, plus dig up phone numbers, faxes, emails and websites for past employers, affiliates and even sometimes, references all over again. No wonder doing locums work can seem so intimidating! Why would someone sign up for the nightmare of paperwork for something that is, by its very definition, is not a permanent thing?

What if there was a better way? What if you could actually submit your CV and a beautiful application came to your inbox already filled in with all the monotonous information transferred with accuracy and precision for you? What if someone already looked up your residency program director’s name, filled in where to go to verify your internship and the addresses of your previous employers FOR you?

Here at Pacific Companies, that’s exactly what our risk management team does. They manage all the paperwork and slim it down so that, with a little bit of luck, all that is needed from you is a few signatures and  you are on your way to your next assignment!

Recently we had a physician take on 7 (that’s right, SEVEN) locums assignments. The process has been so streamlined that what would take a physician hours and days of combing over paperwork, typing (or hand writing!)and frustration is now condensed into no more than 5-10 minutes of the physician’s time per application.

Our entire team here at Pacific Companies is here to help you get on to your next assignment with minimal fuss, stress, and paperwork. They are the go-between for you and the hospitals where you are being credentialed so you that aren’t bombarded with phone calls and emails from the facility asking for information you’ve already submitted.

Let us make your next assignment a breeze and see for yourself just how different the Pacific Companies way of doing locum tenens truly is!
