This position is going to be 100% GYN/ONC with ZERO OBGYN responsibilities. Practice and operate at our 413 Bed Level I trauma center with 3 da Vinci XI robots on-site and access to over 50 clinical trails through our Academic Medical Center. We currently have one GYN/ONC provider, who has been in the community for over 20-years. We are looking to adding one new member to the team who wants to build a busy practice and eventually take over as the leader and face of our Gynecologic Oncology program.
Our GYN/ONC department will receive midlevel provider support in addition to full-spectrum ancillary support such as pelvic physical therapy, cancer nutrition, and counseling. We have a GYNONC Dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist, and GYN-specialized Pathologists in addition to a comprehensive team of Radiation Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists, Hematology/Oncologists & Hem/Onc Hospitalist, Urologists and more. There are 16+ OBGYNs, 24/7/365 OB Hospitalist & 11 Primary Care Clinics which will be sending referrals to ensure the new provider ramps up quickly.
Normal clinical office hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with 36 required patient hours per week. The expected number of patients per day is 17, though our current provider often sees 20 – 22. You can expect 8 – 10 procedures per week, depending on the complexity, and our current providers has be consistently producing in the 90th% of the MGMA, so there is no shortage of procedures available.
Compensation = MGMA Median + RVU Productivity
