Location: Shreveport, LA
Duration: Late January – June 2025
Schedule: 3-7 day blocks throughout the month for gaps on their schedules
Shift: 8a-5p in house, night call
Call: 5p-8a
Scope: No clinic, no elective OR, OR is only urgent or emergent. Day and night coverage of the ICU, trauma service, and emergency general surgery as well as back-up coverage as scheduled. Solo coverage with back up, resident. Taking cancer center calls, cover acute care surgery at night (except for Fri and Sat night) Responsible for surgical airway at night. Taking call for trauma pts, acute care surgery Monday-Friday

Requirements: Active LA or IMLC license, Board certified, fellowship in GS/Trauma/Surgical Critical Care
