Location – Near Anchorage, Alaska
Duration – As soon as credentialed – Ongoing
Schedule – 20 days total of inpatient Hospitalist coverage. (Split between 2 providers) 5 days on every 15 days, 10 shifts per month per provider.
Volume – Average daily census 10-12
Scope – Inpatient hospitalist, Rounding/admissions
- Procedures/Codes – Part of or leader of codes during the day or if in house. ED covers overnight needs but will reach out if responding to inpatient need to ensure closed loop communication and any follow that might be needed
- Pediatric, well-baby and sick baby experience – Would need to be credentialed to cover inpatient pediatrics.
EMR – Evident
Group/Support – 3 employed hospitalists make up that group, 24 hour ED coverage, 3 OB/GYN and 3 CNM for newborn care (assist with NRP and do well baby care), 24 hour RT coverage, General and orthopedic surgery coverage 24 hours, onsite radiology during business hours that is very accessible and provides IR support for procedures
Requirement – AK License, Board Certified Preferred. Open to IM-Hospitalist, FM- Hospitalist, or IM-Pediatric
