Position Details – Locum Tenens Gynecology (GYN-only):
- Location: Central Valley, CA
- Duration: May – Ongoing
- Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month, 3-4 clinic consult days + 1-2 OR days per week.
- Call: Weeknight and weekend call, only for any post-operative complications
- Patient volume: Clinic consults: 10-15 per day / OR – 6 cases per day (most are hysterectomies)
- Scope: GYN only – OR and pre/post op clinic consults. May ask for occasional assistance with women’s health exams and procedures when in clinic such as colposcopies
- EMR: Epic
- Hospital: 685 bed, Level 1 Trauma Center
- Group/support: Full time APP and part time APP 4 days/mo, MD (retiring), office manager, MAs
- Requirements (boards, license): Board Certified or Board Eligible if recently trained, Active California license. Robotic experience preferred but not required.
