Job Description

ENT locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina
Location: 30 minutes outside of Asheville, NC
Duration: September 2024 – January 2025 with option to extend
Sept: 27-29
Nov 1-3
Nov 29-1 Dec
Jan 3-5
Schedule: 1 weekend per month
Shift: Friday 1pm – Monday 8a
Call: 24-hour, inpatient call/surgeries
Patients: expect 1-2 calls per day
Scope: 24-hour, inpatient call, standard procedures, Typical ENT ER cases for community hospital and inpatient consults (44 beds), Minimal trauma, we do not cover jaw-mandible fractures
EMR: Epic
Group/support: 3 ENTs in the Group, in-house Anesthesia, full OR support staff, 24/7 Hospitalists and Emergency Providers
Requirements: BE (within 5 years of training)/BC ENT, North Carolina license & DEA. Fellowship not needed.
