Job Description

New Job Details – Gastroenterology
Location: New Orleans, LA
Duration: Jan 2025 – June 2025 (possible extension)
Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month, can be flexible with scheduling
Shift: Mon-Fri (8 or 9 hr day shifts)
Call:  No weeknight or weekend call 
Patient volume: 12-16 procedures/day
Scope: 100% procedure based, 12-16 procedures per day. standard endoscopy procedures: EGD, push enteroscopy, PEG, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy
EMR: Epic
Group/support: Endoscopy unit support staff (RNs, techs); anesthesia support staff (all procedural sedation performed under anesthesia support)
Requirements: Active LA license (will consider IMLC).  Board certified or truly board eligible.
