Job Description

Location: North Carolina
Duration: March – June (open dates available)
Schedule: 1-4 weeks per month, 7 AM – 3 PM shifts, with rotating call
Call Details:

  • Weeknights: 2nd call, approximately 1 in 5 nights, off-site (7 PM – 7 AM)
  • Weekends: Friday 7 PM through Monday 7 AM, approximately 2 callbacks on average
  • CRNAs provide 2nd call backup as needed

Scope of Practice:

  • General anesthesia, including adult general, OB, ortho, and vascular cases (no head, spine, or thoracic).
  • Experience with blocks is a strong plus.

Hospital Details:

  • Patient volume: Approximately 20 cases per day across 3-4 ORs (5 ORs total, plus OB)
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support team: 3 MDs and 3 CRNAs

Requirements:

  • Board Certification
  • Active North Carolina medical license
