Locum OBGYN Oklahoma | January – June 2025 | 1-4 weeks per month
Location: Oklahoma
Duration: January 2025 for at least 6 months, likely to extend and could also consider locum to permanent
Schedule: Full-time preferred but willing to split schedule with multiple providers 1-4 weeks per month
Minimum of 1 weekend per month accepted, Friday 7am-Monday 7am (the first 2 weeks of each month for 24 HR OB call only; they have a physician covering 24 HR OB call the last 2 weeks of every month so the first 2 weeks are most pressing for call).
Shift: Clinic Monday-Friday 8a-5p + Weeknight Call Monday-Friday 5p-8a for 2-3 nights per week + optional Weekend Call Friday 7a-Monday 7a, 24 HR shifts
Call: Weeknight Call Monday-Friday 5p-8a for 2-3 nights per week. Weekend Call Friday 7a-Monday 7a, 24 HR shifts (first 2 weeks of the month). Call can either be inhouse or pager from hotel, depending on provider preference but rooms available in hospital.
Patient volume: Busy OB. Clinic 18-22 PPD.
Scope: OBGYN – full scope clinic + OBGYN call for emergency deliveries and GYN (call is most pressing)
Procedures Required: High Risk Deliveries (both vaginal and C-Sections) and emergency GYN needed
EMR: Allscripts
Hospital: Level III Trauma. 283 total beds.
Group/support: 5 OBGYN’s, Full L&D Staff, NP’s in clinic, OB Triage team for hospital.
Requirements (boards, license): BC/BE OBGYN, OK License or IMLC license preferred but also open to consider non-licensed candidates. Case logs required: 50 deliveries (to include at least 5 C-Sections) and 25 GYN in recent 12 months
