Shift: Monday – Thursday 8a-5p, Friday, 8a-12p, consult at hospital 12p-4:30p

Patient volume: 25 per day in clinic, about 5 in hospital
Scope:
o Hematology: 60%
• Required: Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to patients with diseases and disorders of the blood, blood forming tissues, and the immunologic system such as anemia, clotting disorders, sickle cell disease, hemophilia, lymphoma and multiple myelom.
o Oncology: 40%
• Required: Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultations to patients with oncologic disorders.

Hospital: 293 beds, 26 ICU beds, not a teaching facility.
Group/support: 3 other hem onc, MA in Clinic, Nurse navigator, Radiology, Lab, Pharmacy.
Requirements (boards, license): BC in Hem ONC or truly board eligible, Ideally LA license but will consider compact licensure + covid vaccinated or being able to provide covid exemption (medical or religious only), Active BLS
