Job Description

Position Details – Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist:

  • Location: Missouri
  • Duration: July 2025 – December 2025
  • Schedule: 7a-7p Monday-Friday (12-hour shifts) plus evening/weekend call
  • Call: 12 or 24-hour weekend call shifts Saturday/Sunday
  • Patient volume: 12-16 patients per shift
  • Scope: 100% inpatient pediatric hospitalist
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Hospital: 500-bed Level 1 Trauma Center, 16 beds in department
  • Group/support: Group consists of 4 other Physicians and 1 midlevel (on weekend cell there is 1 APP that assists with the rounds)
  • Requirements: Board Certified, Active Missouri license, BLS/ACLS/PALS-certified
