OBGYN Locum Tenens Job | Louisiana | Start ASAP – Ongoing
Schedule: FTE – 4 weeks per month only
Shift: Monday – Thursday 8a-5p, Friday, 8a-12p, 1-2 weekends per month of back up call for the laborist group
Call: 1-2 weekends per month.
Patient volume:18-20 per day in clinic, 350 deliveries annually
Scope: Clinic + call – Under our routine GYN care, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including well-woman exams, STD checks, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, breast exams, and IUD insertion and removals, among others. We offer routine OB care, including in-house ultrasounds and NSTs.
EMR: TBD
Hospital: 293 beds, 26 ICU beds, not a teaching facility.
Group/support: We currently have two Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) who are trained to provide a wide range of women’s health services, and two Medical Doctors (MDs) who specialize in specific areas of women’s health. Under our routine GYN care, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including well-woman exams, STD checks, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, breast exams, and IUD insertion and removals, among others. We offer routine OB care, including in-house ultrasounds and NSTs. We have one ultrasound tech, a phlebotomist, three front office staff members, and five clinical staff members.
Requirements (boards, license): BC in OBGYN or truly board eligible, Ideally LA license but will consider compact licensure
