Great Midwest City, with Midwest Values – Live in a community of over 150K people
You should expect to work 3.5 days in clinic and 1 day in the OR. The clinic has 3 procedure rooms with a cystoscope in each room, 12 exam rooms with Dragon Dictation, on-site lab with a lab technician and ultrasound, as well as 10 Olympus Fiberoptic Scopes with Video Monitors. The scopes are picked up and cleaned by the hospital.
The hospital is a level III trauma and does 500+ surgical cases a month, excluding open heart. The ED sees about 100 visits per day. There are 9 ORs, including 2 new ORs that are 750 sqft. in size. There are 6 Anesthesiologists during the day, and when in the OR the incoming physician will have their own RN and scrub tech. There is a DaVinci Si robot with open block time, as only 1 General Surgeon and 2 OBGYNs are using it. None of the current Urologists do robotics.
The physician will be at a full patient panel in less than 1 year. If doing URO-GYN or Neuro-urology the physician could be at a full practice in 6 months.
There is also a need for someone to be doing laparoscopic surgeries, and the incoming physician would get 5-7 cases monthly from the current Urologists.
