Crazy Cases with Dr. Fahad Malik – Above the Legal Limit

On this episode, Gastroenterologist, Dr. Fahad Malik shares a story of a patient who smelled like alcohol, was irritable, had trouble sleeping and was coined an alcoholic by friends and family. After getting pulled over by the police and blowing way above the legal limit, he was sent to the hospital to “sober up” before dealing with the legal ramifications of a DUI. Thankfully, with Dr. Malik’s help, they figured out that this patient really wasn’t an alcoholic and wasn’t drinking the day of the DUI.
